New Futures

Morrison Trust are delivering a pilot project called New Futures.  We aim to support people whose jobs were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic to retrain and reskill, by providing tailored help and support.

 

To be eligible, you need to be: 

 

• Over the age of 30 or over the age of 25, if you have been looking after your home/family and

• Unemployed for 0-36 months, as a result of Covid-19 i.e. you were working before the pandemic but are now unemployed or have been made redundant

• Currently in employment and looking to change career due to your employment being affected by Covid-19.

 

Our support includes:

 

• Working with a dedicated coach/mentor to undertake a skills audit, identify your future aspirations

• Developing a skills and career plan with the overall aim of moving into new employment

• Helping you write or amend your CV

• Helping you search for jobs

• Helping you find training

• Funding your training

• Preparing you for interviews
